Returns and Refunds

This refund and exchange policy is applicable to purchases made through our online store and our physical stores. For details about the online refund policy, please scroll down to the section titled "Online Refund Policy".

In this policy, the expressions we, us and our are a reference to Mazzucchelli’s Jewellers ABN 25 124 077 729.

Please choose your purchase carefully. We don’t give refunds if you simply change your mind or make a wrong decision in-store. Many of our products come with a guarantee or warranty from the manufacturer. In addition, they come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. If the problem is not major, we will choose to repair or replace the item within a reasonable time. If it is not repaired or replaced in a reasonable time you can choose a refund or replacement. You are entitled to a refund or exchange where goods are wrongly described or different from a sample shown to you.

Where applicable, we will meet our obligation to provide a remedy under the Australian Consumer Law https://consumer.gov.au/

If your online order is eligible for an exchange, we will refund any returned merchandise back to your original tender type. A new order will be created for the exchange request and will be charged to the original tender type. You will be notified of your new order number via email.

Once we receive your return, our quality assurance team will assess your item(s) to certify that it is in its original condition and is not an Excluded Item before your nominated refund, exchange or credit is processed. This process including delivery times will take up to 30 days from date of delivery.

Once assessed as eligible, your nominated refund, exchange or credit will be made within 14 days of us receiving the returned item(s). You will receive a confirmation email once your refund is being processed. Note that refunds must be made in the same way that the item(s) were initially purchased.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. If the problem is not major, we will choose to repair or replace the item within a reasonable time. If it is not repaired or replaced in a reasonable time you can choose a refund or replacement. You are entitled to a refund or exchange where goods are wrongly described or different from a sample shown to you

  • your item(s) being returned; and
  • a completed returns form (available here)
  • a copy of your original invoice or order number.

  • has been customised or otherwise modified at your request; or
  • is a special order; or
  • has been resized; or
  • are earrings. Due to hygiene reasons earrings are non-returnable unless faulty or in a new and unused condition.

  • You may return your item(s) purchased through our online store within 14 days of delivery for a full refund, exchange or credit note by following the requirements below.
  • Your item is not eligible for a refund, exchange or credit note if it is an Excluded Item, which means that it:
    • has been personalised, customised or otherwise modified at your request; or
    • is a special order; or
    • has been resized.
  • Item(s) must be returned in original, unused and unworn condition free from any damage or sign of wear and with all packaging, paperwork and certificates that originally accompanied your item(s).
  • Include in your return package:
    1. your item(s) being returned; and
    2. a completed returns form (available here) and
    3. a copy of your original invoice or order number.
  • You will be responsible for the cost and risk of posting your item(s) back to us. We recommend that you insure your item(s) with your courier as we cannot accept any responsibility for loss or damage in transit of the item(s) during its delivery back to us.

By using our online store, you are agreeing to the terms of this policy. You acknowledge that we may modify our policy and post such changes on our online store, after which, your continued use of our online store shall be deemed to be your agreement to the modified policy.

In addition to the above, you may also have rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
